Mayor of Amsterdam Femke Halsema officially reopened the city for international business events on 26 August. The first trade fairs are about to start. RAI Amsterdam is ready to organise a safe and hospitable METSTRADE 2021, in compliance with the current measures that apply to B2B events in the Netherlands.
The METSTRADE project team reaffirms its commitment to deliver a successful comeback of METSTRADE on 16 to 18 November. Our team has been working tirelessly and preparations are well underway. We are aware of measures that, in the current time, would hamper participation for certain visitors. These include the rules related to international travel and quarantine. At the same time, however, we expect a relaxation of measures over the coming weeks that will have a positive impact on METSTRADE 2021.
A key date in this process will be the press conference that Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte is due to hold on 17 September. We will share all relevant details with our exhibitors and visitors in the week of 20 September.
On behalf of the METSTRADE team
