DuFLEX BondingAngles

DuFLEX BondingAngles

FRB Bonding Angles

The 90 degree angles have been designed to provide a quick and effective means for making right angle joints between DuFLEX panels. These pre-cured angles can be bonded in place with an epoxy paste adhesive and are ideal for inaccessible areas where wet fibreglass taping would be difficult.

COOSA Composites Panels

COOSA Composites Panels

PU panels reinforced with fibreglas

Coosa panels consist of high density polyurethane foam reinforced with layers of fibreglass. Offering superior resiliency and endurance, lightweight and not subject to water, rot or insect infestation, Coosa panels are an excellent replacement for plywood or wood fibre materials. Coosa panels are used throughout the marine, industrial and transportation industries in structural and non-structural applications. Dimensionally Stable Available in a Variety of Densities and Thicknesses Low Water Absorp

DuFLEX Sandwichpanels

DuFLEX Sandwichpanels

Light Weight Sandwichpanels laminated with Epoxy with various cores and fibre laminates

DuFLEX® panels were specifically designed to reduce construction time and to optimise structural weight in high performance composite structures. Time-consuming laminating, coring and vacuum bagging steps normally required to fabricate high performance composites are avoided, and material waste, labour and tooling costs are greatly reduced.

DuraKore

DuraKore

DuraKore® Strip Planks combine the best elements of traditional wooden boat building techniques with advanced, lightweight, composite materials.

Engineered as an advance in marine strip planking construction, DuraKore® is often used in conjunction with DuFLEX® composite panels to build compound shapes, such as the hulls in catamaran construction. DuraKore® Strip Planks are 300mm wide and 2400mm long, manufactured with Diab ProBalsa® end-grain balsa laminated with a hardwood veneers and are pre-scarfed to facilitate joining.

Featherlight

Featherlight

Featherlight panels provide superior levels of stiffness, and thermal & acoustical insulating properties.

Specifically designed for non-structural interior applications, Featherlight panels compliment the DuFLEX Composite panel range and have been developed to optimise weight and dimensional stability, making them ideally suited as lightweight building panels for the construction of interiors for luxury and high performance motor and sailing yachts.Curved surfaces in these lightweight panels are achieved without effort by simply kerf-cutting the inside skin.

High Density Inserts

High Density Inserts

DuFLEX and Featherlight panels can also incorporate High Density Inserts using materials such as PVC foam, PET foam, high density Coosa and solid FRP.

Having Inserts included in the panel manufacture, and not having to fit on the job, offers fabricators a cost-effective balance between mechanical properties, weight and cost. Finished, routed 2D parts can also be provided with any level of insert complexity, and are nested for optimal sheet utilisation. All DuFLEX and Featherlight Panels are compatible with a variety of resins for post lamination and bonding including Polyester, Vinyl Ester, Epoxy and Poly Urethane.
