“METSTRADE showcases the spirit of innovation in the boating industry. We see familiar exhibitors with new products, long-standing players returning, and new innovations emerging every year,” says Jarkko Pajusalo, CEO of the Finnish Marine Industries Federation Finnboat. ”This year, we’re excited to present groundbreaking Finnish companies like X-Fender and SimplyDC, bringing fresh perspectives to the marine sector. Finnish companies continue to be increasingly active, which is also reflected in the growth of the Finnish pavilion.”

METSTRADE 2024 will take place this year from the 19th to the 21st of November in Amsterdam at the RAI Convention Centre. The Finnish pavilion can be found in hall 1 next to the neighboring Swedish and Norwegian pavilions. This year, in addition to Finnboat’s pavilion, our innovative companies are also divided into two other halls: Remoran presents its hydrogenerators in hall 7, X-Fender, which manufactures new types of airless and foldable fenders, and SimplyDC, which facilitates the installation of boat electrical systems, can be found in the Start-up Pavilion in hall 7, and Mesitek, which manufactures decking and interior parts, has built its stand to hall 12. SwitchMaster enables automatic, cabin-specific control of the boat’s heating system, allowing precise temperature adjustment in different zones, such as sleeping cabins and the saloon. Matrix heaters: For the quietest heating system on the market, Wallas have developed new steplessly-controlled matrix heaters with individual thermostats, allowing multiple cabins to be heated within their own temperature zones. With low speeds and an independent thermostat, even small sleeping cabins can receive the right amount of heat almost silently, avoiding the constant start/stop cycles of the heater. Special attention is given to material choices and solutions that ensure the product’s corrosion resistance and mechanical durability in marine conditions. The new EasyLift Mounting System is designed specifically to enhance the use of Remoran Wave 3 -hydrogenerators. EasyLift improves safety by eliminating the need to reach over the edge of the boat. The hydrogenerator can now be easily and safely raised and lowered directly from the deck.
