In-Line Hybrid System
A parallel hybrid propulsion system designed for power vessels ranging from 7m up to 50m superyachts.
The system is tailored to accommodate electric power requirements from 20kW to 600kW, complemented by an ICE motor of up to 1,700hp. The PM motor shaft aligns directly with the output shaft of the combustion engine and the marine gear, enabling direct propulsion of the propeller shaft from the diesel engine, the e-motor or a combination in diesel-electric boost mode. Ultra-compact, light weight var. speed DC genset
EPTechnologies has developed an ultra-compact and light weight variable speed DC genset which is believed to be the lightest on the market. This plug and play genset weighs 80 kg which is almost 70% less than a comparable AC generator. The light weight is important to save energy and was therefore one of the important factors when designed. The output is 48V to 700V DC and it creates a continuous power of 8kW with a peak of 10kW. HV / High Energy Power Packs
All New Li-NMC (Nickel Manganese Cobalt) cells provide more power, lighter weight, smaller size and 25% more range than last year’s LiFePo4 chemistry. These cells have been updated with even lower impedance. Lightweight High Quality 3.7V (nominal) Li-NMC cell. Pre-charge circuits is included in each battery string, isolation monitoring and SoC (state-of-charge) & SoH (state-of-health) calculations as well.
