The specific design of the 400-volt permanent magnet synchronous motor is characterized by its high power density and very high efficiency. The motor is available in two power ratings, with 90 and 140 kW. The compact dimensions allow both versions to be integrated into tight engine compartments, thus facilitating the retrofitting of existing applications. The combination with inverters and gear units enables customized system solutions from a single source.

The inverter provides customized control for Bosch electric motors in marine applications. The configurable software and control parameters allow the flexible use in different use cases. The integrated DC/DC converter, the A/C compressor connection as well as the integrated torque and speed controller allow maximum functionality. The inverter is developed and tested according to Bosch high volume production process for highest reliability.

Developed specifically for high-speed electric motors, eGFZ9125 combines high power density with an efficiency of up to 98 % while optimizing noise. This enables the integration of a zero emission drive into existing installation space requirements. Due to the components already in the gearbox, like heat exchanger and oil pump, eGFZ9125 can be integrated easily into the existing cooling circuit of the electric drives.
