TEXTILE REINFORCEMENTS FOR LIGHTWEIGHT CONSTRUCTION
In boatbuilding applications, SAERTEX products help improve the energy balance of sailing yachts and motor boats. By using our fibre-reinforced composite materials, heavy metallic materials can be replaced, thereby achieving significant weight reductions and energy savings.
Our materials are utilised in the hull and deck planking, superstructures and interior mouldings of vessels.
SAERfix®

SELF-ADHESIVE NCF's
SAERfix is an adhesive developed by SAERTEX for self-adhesive multiaxial fabrics, SAERcore, SAERflow and fleece. It is pre-applied on the fabric and so you are ready to drape your reinforcements in the mold, even in complex shapes.
- 50% time-savings in comparison to spray
- 10x longer hold, 2-times longer resistance to osmosis
- Reproducible quality
- Compatible with all common resin systems
- Sustainable for the environment and your team
SAERcore®

CLOSED MOLD REINFORCEMENTS
SAERcore is our patented product range for closed mould injection processes such as RTM (Resin Transfer Moulding) and RTM light or infusion processes. The highlight: SAERcore delivers an optimised resin flow zone. This causes the resin to flow four times faster – and even five times faster with our special high-flow variant.
SAERfoam®

STRUCTURAL CORE MATERIAL WITH 3D GLASS BRIDGES
SAERfoam replaces conventional core materials such as PVC, PET and balsa in an innovative manner: Ultralight foam (PU/PE/PIR) is combined with 3D glass reinforcements. The result is SAERfoam, an extremely low-weight hybrid core material with mechanical properties that can be individually optimised. This offers a multitude of benefits for your production process
SAERflow®

STRUCTURAL FLOW MEDIA
SAERflow combines a glass reinforcement and a lightweight synthetic structure. Together, they provide uncompressible layers with excellent resin flow and high draping properties. SAERflow is used as an internal flow media, which saves a tremendous amount of time. No need to lay-up or release the external flow mesh or its associated consumable layers.
Flax NCF

BIOBASED FLAX NCF
Sustainable innovation in lightweight construction: With our flax NCFs (non-crimp fabrics), you can reduce CO2 emissions and rely on renewable resources. These multiaxial fabrics made from renewable flax fibers are ideal for various lightweight construction applications, including boat building.
Flax NCFs improve the CO2 balance of your composite materials and at the same time ensure an aesthetically appealing design of your end products.
