The latest development includes the addition of a sacrificial anode to the hydrogenerator’s outboard unit. This aluminum anode serves to protect submerged parts from galvanic corrosion. EasyLift - The safest and easiest mounting accessory for Remoran Wave 3 The new EasyLift Mounting System will be available on the market in December! It’s designed specifically to enhance the use of Remoran Wave 3 -hydrogenerators. EasyLift improves safety by eliminating the need to reach over the edge of the boat. The hydrogenerator can now be easily and safely raised and lowered directly from the deck. Benefits of this system: • Lifting and lowering can be done at speeds of up to 10 knots. • Sargasso weed can often be removed simply by adjusting the angle, allowing the weed to slide off, and then returning the angle to normal. • All operations can be done from the deck without reaching down to the device’s (blue) handles. • Especially good for classic boats without swimming platforms, where accessing the hydrogenerator for lifting or angle adjustment while sailing can be risky and challenging. • 0-40 degrees of angle adjustment, with an additional 5 - 10 degrees of transom angle supported using the Wave 3’s own angle adjustment (using the blue knob).
