MZ Electronic was born in 1993 developing electronic nautical equipment. In 2008 MZ creates ITALWINCH brand and in 2011 they acquire ORVEA. Now the range ITALWINCH by ORVEA has more than 30 categories of mechanical products for docking. In 2017 Mz Electronic acquires Officina Navale Nanni ( O.N.N.) specialized in windlasses, chain stoppers, capstans and deck equipment. In 2021MZ buys Progetto Elica building propellers. MZ proposes a complete range for boats up to 90 m.

Orchid is a stainless steel AISI vertical windlass. Available in high or low profile version, with different motorizations, it is suggested for boats up to 22 meters. Orchid can bring 8mm, 10mm and 12mm chains and comes with built-in chain counter sensor. Possibility of 12V, 24V, 230V, 400V or hydraulic motorizations. NV 16 is a stainless steel AISI 316 vertical windlass. Available in electric and hydraulic versions, it is suggested for boats up to 42 meters. It can bring chains from 12mm to 16mm with stud link. The electromagnetic brake and dog clutches instead of conical clutches are standard.
