It has all the major features of the original propeller, apart from the Overdrive. Available to preview at METS 2024, on stand 12.540, the GORI Hybrid Propeller with ‘patent pending’ is based on the same platform as the DAME Design Award winning GORI 3-Blade Propeller for sailing boats with an added feature to optimise it for electric and hybrid propulsion. GORI has developed an integrated locking system which will keep the blade open when regeneration is a priority, there is then a mechanism to release the blades, so they are folded when performance under sail is a priority.
