Furuno is proud to introduce the TZTBBX, the latest addition to the TZtouchXL lineup. This advanced system features an easy-to-use multi-touch interface, a new charting system, and Furuno’s AI Routing and safety features, setting a new standard in marine electronics. Powered by a hexacore processor, the TZTBBX delivers lightning-fast response and supports up to a six-way split window on virtually any display size you choose, including their 17", 19", or 24" multi-touch displays.
All-new cartography, called TZ MAPS, offers an unprecedented level of detail and customization to suit the needs of every boater. Powered by TimeZero, it provides all-new charts for the US and other global areas with a single purchase directly from the MFD. TZ MAPS combines the detailed appearance of raster charts with the flexibility of vector charts, featuring crisp detail at any magnification level and eight customizable color palettes.
Users enjoy crowd-sourced community maps that allow them to update chart objects through the Layers menu, creating and modifying custom objects that can be shared with other TZ MAPS users via TimeZero’s moderated service.

NavNet TZtouchXL's safety features, including the all-new Risk Visualizer and AI Avoidance Route features, are unparalleled. Dynamic icons are automatically created for targets with the highest probability of collision, ensuring the captain has the information they need to maintain safe distances when passing. The TZTBBX is compatible with Furuno’s award-winning peripherals, including X-Class magnetron or NXT Solid-State Doppler Radar, high-powered Fish Finders, AIS, NavPilot Autopilots, and the DFF3D Deep Water Multibeam Sonar. It also supports essential features like PIN Code Lock for security.
The refined user interface of NavNet TZtouchXL simplifies navigation with Edge Swipe functions. Boaters can edge swipe from the top to quickly select custom quick page configurations, from the bottom to access features of the current screen in the Layers menu, from the left edge to display data boxes, and from the right edge for access to the most commonly used functions.
With a free TimeZero account, boaters can quickly and easily back up or retrieve their data from the cloud. TZ MAPS areas purchased from the TZTBBX are also unlocked in the free TZ iBoat app for mobile devices and TZ Pro navigation software, making it simple to plan waypoints and routes remotely and then download them directly to the MFD.

NavNet TZtouch XL

Furuno has historically set the bar for the most powerful Multi Function Displays (MFDs) with the easiest-to-use interface, and with the release of NavNet TZtouchXL, the bar has been set higher than ever before. The NavNet TZtouchXL series introduces five different sizes of MFDswith all the features boaters desire, including exclusive, never-before-seen features in recreational navigation devices. Plus, they pack all of the power and performance that has been the hallmark of Furuno for decades, wrapped in a fresh and simple-to-use user interface.
What sets these MFDs so far ahead of the field is an all-new chart offering called TZ MAPS. Navigators are in complete control of what map data they want to download, such as raster or vector charts, satellite photos, and bathymetric data. Plus, they can select specific areas that they want to keep updated. Objects can be turned on and off in the Layers menu, available with a single edge swipe up from the bottom of the display. Users can create their own custom objects or make updates to charted objects, such as buoys, so when they move from their previously charted positions, they can be updated on the system on the fly. Custom user objects can be shared with other registered TZ MAPS users through TimeZero's new moderated service, and since they reside on their own chart layer on the TZtouchXL MFD, they can easily be displayed or hidden as desired.
Another new feature in TZ MAPS, called Bathyvision, offers users truly ‘off the charts’ bathymetric data with contour lines that can be configured with a single tap. When we say configurable, we’re talking down to a resolution of a mere 3inches between contours - that's 3x better than any other bathymetric chart currently on the market. Bathymetric data is rendered from the same high resolution database used for TZ MAPS’ custom depth shading and can be overlaid onto the navigation charts to create fishing charts unlike any seen before. All of this can be rendered with custom color palettes and terrain shading, giving navigators an electronic charting experience that goes far beyond any premium chart service before it. Purchase of any TZ MAPS area also unlocks added functionality for that area, such as the powerful AI Routing feature that intelligently plans out routes, taking into consideration the boat's draft and navigational obstacles. To round it off, the purchase of any TZ MAPS chart unlocks those charts in the free TZ iBoat app for mobile devices such as a phone or tablet, allowing navigators to have a home planning app that will transfer their points and routes directly to the TZtouchXL. With a free TimeZero account, waypoints and routes can be easily backed up or retrieved from the cloud with just a few taps.
TZtouchXL empowers users to purchase charts directly from the MFD! With an Internet connection and TZtouchXL's simple, graphically presented chart store, navigators can purchase unlock codes and automatically update charts, keeping them current with the freshest data without having to manually download them. Updates are free for one year, and then they can continue to receive updates with a small annual subscription.
When connected to an NXT Radar, two new, powerful safety features are unlocked, Risk Visualizer and AI Avoidance Route. Risk Visualizer is a unique function of NXT Radars that provides a 360° visual representation of potential collision risks of approaching objects around the vessel. Unlike CPA/TCP Aalarms which indicate only the risks visible on the ship’s current course, RiskVisualizer assesses all of the objects around the vessel. Dynamic icons are automatically created for targets with the highest probability of collision, ensuring the captain has the information they need to maintain safe distances when passing. The new AI Avoidance Route feature takes all the information provided by the NXT Radar and instantly provides a safe route around those hazards, which can be sent to a Furuno NavPilot series autopilot with a single tap.
The series comprises five MFDs, including two hybrid control models, the10” TZT10X and 13” TZT13X. These units incorporate all of the multi touch capabilities of the TZtouchXL series, as well as Furuno’s RotoKey™ control knob and dedicated soft-touch keys, making navigation intuitive andeasy under any sea conditions. The all-glass 16” TZT16X, 22” TZT22X, and 24” TZT24X boast super-wide displays with exceptional clarity and brightness. The all-glass design allows these powerful MFDs to be mounted side-by-side for a seamless and stylish all-glass appearance to enhance both the functionality and sophistication of the helm. Every TZtouchXL model features a powerful hexacore processor for lightning-fast response. NavNet TZtouchXL delivers the ability to tailor the helm to meet the captain's exact needs. All magnetron or Solid-State Doppler Radars, high-powered FishFinders, AIS, Autopilot, and Deep Water Multibeam Sonar options that users of NavNet TZtouch3 have come to appreciate are compatible with TZtouchXL. Many of the must-have features that NavNet TZtouch3 users depend on are also available, including Target Analyzer™, Bird Mode, Rain Mode, and PINCode Lock to prevent access to the MFD and provide a safeguard against data theft. The TZT10X, TZT13X, and TZT16X feature a built-in 1kW TruEcho CHIRP or CW Fish Finder and built-in 235kHz or 455kHz CHIRP Side-Scan that can show fish and structure in high detail port and starboard. These built-in FishFinder and Side-Scan functions can be accessed by the TZT22X and TZT24X across the NavNet network.
For those looking for an added element of control, two new remote control options are available, the vertically-oriented MCU006 and horizontal MCU006H, each capable of controlling any TZtouchXL MFD in the network. Both feature a comfortable RotoKey™ and beveled buttons for enhanced ease of use. The ten dedicated dual-purpose buttons operate different functions, including the ability to access the Edge Swiping functionality that makes the NavNet TZtouch series so easy to use. Furuno is excited to introduce the NavPilot-1000, a Heading Control System (HCS) designed for larger vessels up to 100m, about 300 feet LOA. The NavPilot-1000 is type approved for high-speed craft and is the ideal Autopilot for both IMO and non-IMO installations. With its ability to connect to both analog and solenoid steering systems, the NavPilot-1000 is a perfect steering solution for commercial vessels and luxury yachts alike.
The NavPilot-1000 comes with an easy-to-read display and control unit that provides critical navigation data on a clear 5.7” color LCD. A robust rotary knob ensures the Autopilot is comfortable to use even in rough conditions, providing "one click/one action" response. With four independent NMEA0183 ports, the NavPilot-1000 meets the EC61162-450 standard for interfacing and integration and is ideally suited for connection with ECDIS for both NAV mode and conning. NavPilot-1000 can be connected to the NavNet TZtouch series of Multi Function Displays (MFDs) via NMEA2000, and can be activated and operated from any MFD in the network.
The NavPilot-1000 features a smooth TURN mode, ensuring confident maneuvers with an advanced steering algorithm specifically designed for larger vessels. The Auto Tuning feature automatically adjusts rudder gain, counter rudder, and rate of turn to match vessel characteristics. The system can also store up to six "Work Profiles" with distinct, custom parameters assigned for varying conditions or locations. "Work Profiles" allow for operator-assigned settings for vessels with multiple operators that have different steering preferences.

Furuno Italia announces the launch of the new Furuno Integrated Control System, a technological innovation specifically designed for mid-sized super yachts. This system marks a significant improvement in integrated navigation management, combining advanced technology with unprecedented functionality in a single, user-friendly solution.
The system is designed to offer complete control and simplified management of on-board operations. The Furuno Integrated Control System features three central 24” Hatteland monitors, accompanied by a curved operational console with two 22” TZtouchXL Multifunction Displays and two MCU006 Remote Control Units on either side. In the central position, reserved for the operator, are the helm, engine knobs, BNWAS reset button, and the FM8900S marine VHF radio. Completing the setup are a gyro repeater and the new NAVpilot-1000 autopilot.
On the right side, the system integrates a 10” panel PC, a dimmer panel for managing the Hatteland displays, and a RCU030 trackball. The system's sources include two TIMEZERO multifunction systems, a Furuno FAR-3000 chart radar, and a FARSOUNDER forward-looking sonar.
The rack houses a TVCC IRIS CCTV system and simulations of the Böning Alarm Monitoring and Control System. Among the most notable technological innovations is the seamless switching feature, which allows uninterrupted switching between different sources directly from the displays, enhancing safety and minimising distractions for the operator.
Additionally, the dynamic Multi-View display offers the ability to adjust the screen size of a specific source and recall up to five configurable presets, all managed with a simple double-click of the trackball.
The Furuno Integrated Control System ensures total control and integrated management of all on-board navigation and monitoring systems. The intuitive user interface, along with the ability to customise layouts and views, significantly enhances operational efficiency and the overall navigation experience.
