Our MK2 Combi bracket gives you multiple mounting
Made from 2mm Stainless steel it will accommodate smaller radars such as Raymarine, Garmin, Simrad and Furuno etc. The basic upright enables our popular EM230 Basemount, Compact or Compact Plus radar reflectors with or without a navigation light, or Active X or XS target enhancers to be safely positioned over the radar (Figs 1&2).
Optional extras:
Top plate is available with fixings for an Active RTE, AIS and Hella 360/Orionis LED light. (Fig 3)

Successfully tested by QinetiQ to ISO 8729-1999, and meets RORC,ORC,ISAF 2012/13 and WCC requirements of 10M2. Echomax EM230 has now been allocated a NATO Stock No.5840-99-742-6193 following the adoption and use of the Echomax EM230 by the UK Military Forces and others throughout the World. Used by the US Navy for target and other uses. The EM230 has Ships Wheel Mark certification for life boats and rescue craft as from December 2012 and copies of the BABT- TUV Module B

The Active-XS amplifies and returns a stronger signal and these high responses to both X or S Band Radar increase the likelihood of improving your vessels radar cross section and helps to alert oncoming vessels of your position and detection especially in poor conditions and thereby reduces the risk of collision.

The RORC recommend a mounting height of 4 meters above sea level or on small craft as high as possible. Mount in the catch rain position with the open corners facing the horizon. Mounting heights of 10-35 feet will give an approximate radar response between 4-7 nautical miles. In the catch rain position the EM12 gives a maximum RCS of 5.57m2 and an average RCS of 1.77m2.
