A universal man over board alert system for any NMEA 2000 navigation system
MOB Alert from Digital Yacht synthesises an instant AIS MOB alert (in the same format that an AIS beacon generates) with the press of a button thanks to its universal NMEA 2000 interface. It outputs this data onto the boat network and also creates an additional industry standard MOB alert PGN (the name given to data fields in NMEA 2000) so there are two methods of activating the plotter MOB function and recording the casualty position. Activation is via a simple waterproof push switch

NAVLink Blue connects Bluetooth devices such as phones, tablets and sensors to NMEA 2000 networks. It allows app developers for iOS and Android who support Bluetooth to take advantage of data that’s available on the boat’s NMEA 2000 back bone - for instance, GPS, AIS, instrument, engine or electrical information. The gateway is also bi-directional so Bluetooth sensor data can be communicated back to the NMEA 2000 system bringing a new range of sensors to boat networks.
